If you knew better, you'd move to the shade, give your heart some water, give your face a shave, smear your wrong, all over the place, you showed them disgust on your face. Black Thumb (4x) Take my advice or to the grave, stop your self obsession, only you can save, One day your truth will come, all that youv'e been wishing yea, BT (4x) It's getting darker and darker, darker in tone ,dddd-down to the bone. You can drive all who care into a ditch, you have the power to flip the switch, time to change from down to up, or be a freak and stay corrupt, yeah.. Black Thumb.

When times were really really good, i held her golden love so strong, deserved an A for effort, but my luck was not that charmed, my dad fell down, he got sick, things got really thick and work took my girl away. All our plans got tabled and left me in disarray, I felt like a rain cloud, but now I'm a monsoon, she found her mountain on the Brighter Side of the Moon. I get tired, i get overwhelmed, waiting for something to fall, pull me out of this wishing well. I get tired tired, I get overwhelmed, thanks for the long distance call, but you can't un ring the bell, i felt like a raincloud but now I'm a monsoon. She found her mountain on the Brighter Side of the Moon. And it was a long time ago, been from Seattle down to Mexico, and if it didn't mean that much to me, why do I keep thinking about it and repeating it over and over yeah? I felt like a raincloud, but now I'm an angry monsoon, she found her mountain, on the Brigher Side of the Moon. She found her mountain on the Brighter Side of the Moon.

about

Rough Church Los Angeles, California

Rough Church from Los Angeles was conceived in 2005. We sing about rare steamy rain, rolling tumbleweeds and lost poems raging against dying lights of empathy. We put out indie pop classic jams that get us compared to everything from Minutemen, Pixies. We are musically spitting in the wind, and somehow we end up getting to the top of our own mountain. ... more
